BowlsWales Covid-19 Update-14th July 2020
Following the First Minister’s announcements on Friday 10th July, BowlsWales welcomes the news below.
‘The Welsh Government is making changes to the regulations to allow larger gatherings of up to 30 people outdoors only where these are organised and supervised by a responsible person for sports and other leisure activities and classes.’
The number of people allowed on each rink is governed by current legislation and restrictions on adhering to social distancing. Outdoor group coaching sessions can now re-start safely whilst following the Welsh Government and Industry guidelines.
From Monday 13th July, food and beverage can also resume operating an outdoor service providing they follow Welsh Government advice including Test, Trace, Protect.
BowlsWales awaits the revised Welsh Government’s Coronavirus Regulations together with the Welsh Government’s updated guidance and will be working through the changes and updating our guidelines documents.
We ask if clubs can wait until we have updated our guidelines before acting upon the above.
