Wales started well against a strong England team on the pleasant Clarence Park greens and at one stage we’re ahead in 4 of the 7 games but in the end had to settle for 2 points after securing one win.
It was a similar scenario in the second game against Scotland where Wales were looking good but once again, we faltered in the closing stages and instead of winning 9-5 we lost by that margin.
The second day saw us put in a good performance against England to draw 6-6 and in the final set of matches against Scotland we picked up 4 points in a game we could so easily have secured a 10-2 victory.
All in all it was a good weekend, and we continue to improve but now need to find a way to turn around these narrow defeats into wins.
