10 Nations Tournament Announcement

The eyes of the bowls world will be on Cardiff & Vale next month for a 10 nations test match. Wales have invited nine countries to take part in the nine-day event which is being held as part of the preparation for the Atlantic Championships which Wales will host in 2019. Countries taking part are Malaysia, Australia, USA, Spain, Ireland, Jersey, Canada, South Africa and Namibia (men only). Both the WBA and WWBA have chosen teams made up of a mix of experienced and a development players to give them an opportunity to play against some of the top countries

Whilst many eyes were on Broadbeach and the Commonwealth Games in recent weeks, domestic matters continued to reach a climax for the 2017/2018 indoor season. Our young bowlers competitions are well respected and long established, and have been running for over 20 years. Success Down Under for Daniels and Kingdon

World Singles Champion of Champions Laura Daniels has been crowned world singles champion of champions after a week of high quality bowling at Sydney’s palatial St Johns Park Bowls Club. Daniels had an impressive round-robin topping the group stages for the first four days, qualifying for the playoffs against South Africa’s Nici Neal and winning two straight sets.
