Work on the independent review of Bowls in Wales is now well underway. We have recently completed a survey of the Bowls community –thanks to the 600 of you who responded. We are now working on the next phase of the review -a series of interviews with key people/groups, public meetings and focus groups. As you can imagine, getting all of these in place is taking some time, but don’t worry –the work is continuing! We plan to host meetings on a regional basis -with at least one in North Wales, one in South West Wales, one or two in South Wales Central and South Wales East and another in Mid Wales if there is enough demand. Watch this space for details of the public meetings and focus groups in due course.

We are still keen to involve anyone across Wales who has an opinion about the future of our sport. Please feel free put your name forward or to suggest others who you believe could usefully contribute to the work. Please email James Allen on
