BowlsWales Business Manager

BowlsWales is the coordinating body for bowls in Wales. It is an exciting period for our sport with the growing interest in the game.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide a central management and administrative role for BowlsWales, working closely with the Board of Directors, staff and key stakeholders (National Governing Bodies, Service Organisations and Sport Wales) to ensure delivery of all strategic, operational and governance objectives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You’ll need to be highly resilient, comfortable managing a mixed portfolio and delivering in a fast paced and challenging environment. You will be naturally collaborative and will seek out opportunities to develop strong working relationships with BowlsWales members and external stakeholders.

DETAILS

SALARY:

£22.5K + additional benefits

HOURS:

35 hrs per week (+ some out of hours as required)

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Chair of the Board

LOCATION:

Office facilities at Sport Wales, Cardiff, with the option of flexible and remote working

DURATION:

This post is on a fixed term basis for 1 year and is subject to annual confirmation of a Sport Wales funding award. If the funding is withdrawn/reduced before the fixed term period expires, your contract of employment will/may be terminated with one month’s written notice.
