BowlsWales is the co-ordinating body for bowls in Wales, working in partnership with the four codes, the Coaching Association and the Umpires Association to support and develop the sport nationwide.
We champion bowls as a lifelong, inclusive activity. One that strengthens communities, supports wellbeing and creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved.
The people we work with
At BowlsWales, the heart of our sport lies with the clubs, volunteers, coaches, umpires and dedicated individuals who make bowls thrive in communities across Wales. Every day, people give their time, expertise and passion to support players of all ages and abilities — from grassroots participation to performance pathways.
Working closely with the four codes, the Coaching Association and the Umpires Association, we help to co-ordinate and support the delivery of bowls across the country.
Who works with us
BowlsWales works in partnership with the Welsh Government, Sport Wales and local authorities, alongside the sport's four National Governing Bodies, to support the development of bowls across Wales.
Together, we are committed to strengthening governance across the sport — creating a strong foundation that enables clubs, volunteers and delivery partners to focus on growing and sustaining bowls in communities across Wales.
