The Wales Sport Awards sees BBC Cymru Wales and Sport Wales join forces annually to showcase the very best of elite and grassroots sport in Wales. The Awards combine the expertise of both organisations to create Wales’ biggest ever sporting celebration. The Awards include a range of categories. The public can nominate and vote for their favourite community and elite sporting heroes, and an expert panel of judges decide many of the overall winners. The prestigious BBC Cymru Wales Sports Personality of the Year and Coach of the Year prizes are among those awarded on the night of the Awards.
