BowlsWales is launching a recruitment drive for new Non-Executive Directors, as we move into an exciting new chapter for the organisation.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

• Safeguarding (children and adults)
• Finance / Audit

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of bowls in Wales, contributing your skills and experience to strong governance at a pivotal time — as we refresh our governance structure, move towards a skills-based Board, and deliver our new Strategy 2026–2030.

The role is voluntary, with reasonable expenses paid. Each Non-Executive Director is appointed for a term of three years, with a maximum of two terms. The time commitment is six Board meetings a year, plus some additional work such as attending events and reviewing papers — approximately two days a month in total.
