Stars of the Future – Free Under-18s Taster Session at Merthyr Tydfil

Welsh Indoor Bowls is inviting young people across Wales to try their hand at bowls, completely free of charge.

Stars of the Future, a free taster session for under-18s, takes place at Merthyr Tydfil Indoor Bowls Club on Sunday 11th October 2026, from 10am to 12pm.

Whether you're an experienced junior player, a complete beginner, or have never picked up a bowl before, everyone is welcome. Coaching will be provided on the day, so no experience is necessary — just bring yourself and a pair of flat-soled shoes.

It's a great opportunity for young people to discover the sport, meet other junior players, and find out what indoor bowls is all about.
