The following players have been selected to represent Wales at the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic:

Lawn Bowls Association of Hong Kong, China will be hosting its annual international event “Hong Kong International Bowls Classic” between 11 November and 19 November 2023.

The event was inaugurated in 1981, this tournament which has gained an international reputation as a top-class prestigious event in the world’s bowling calendar.

 

Details of the event are as follows:

Period of Event: 11-19 November 2023

Venues include:

  • Kowloon Bowling Green Club (KBGC),
  • Club de Recreio (CdeR)
  • & Kowloon Cricket Club (KCC)

Participating Countries: England, India, Ireland, Macao, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Philippines, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and Wales (13 overseas countries)

Number of Players competing:

  • 128 players in Singles event (11 & 12 November)
  • 46 Overseas players + 82 local players
  • 96 players in pairs (13-19 November)
  • 46 Overseas players + 50 local top players
