Write up from Stephen Rees:

Another good day for our bowlers at Cardiff. Our learning disability bowlers had two pairs qualify from last weeks heats and progressed to the quarter-finals of the Welsh Learning Disability Outdoor Pairs competition today.  Both managed to get through their Quarter-Final games this morning, and played their Semi-Finals this afternoon.  Naomi Baelz and Millie Campbell won their Semi-final by a big margin.  Philip Baylis and Harry Gwatkin got off to a slow start in their semi and were seven shots to one down at the half way point.  both the boys did well to recover to 8-6 at the finish against two members of the Welsh Common Wealth Games team, so a great credit to them. Naomi and Millie progress to the Final at Llandrindod Wells during National Finals week.  Well done to all who played in this competition a great credit to people with a learning disability who battled hard over two days in extreme heat.
