This was a Special Olympics GB sanctioned event run by Cardiff Chameleons a Special Olympics Cardiff and Vale affiliated Club. On Sunday January 14th 2024 Bowlers from South and Mid Wales descended on Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club to compete in the third Welsh Intellectual Learning Impairment Bowls Championships. Welsh Learning Disability Indoor Bowls Pairs Championship
On Sunday 20th February, 40 bowlers took to the green at Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club to compete for three Classifications titles in the Welsh Learning Disability Pairs Championship 2022. Well done to all competitors who took part in this competition, despite the awful weather conditions, all the entrants arrived safely. Some tremendous bowling was witnessed by over 90 Bowlers, Volunteers, Coaches and supporters. Bowlers from Pembroke, Radnorshire, Islwyn, Rhondda and Cardiff Chameleons, took part in round robin competitions in three separate classifications. The winners and runner-up in each Classification going on to the Semi-Finals and Finals to determine the Welsh Champions.
