British Isles Ladies Junior International Series

Over the weekend the Welsh Ladies Under 25 international team competed at the at Ffrith Indoor Bowling Club, North Wales. The team played England, Scotland and Ireland, finishing third on the table. The team was led by Team Manager R Harvey, Welsh President B Broad and Team Captain S Brain. R Thompson received her first Welsh cap during the series. While experienced players R Williams and J Staton were recalled into the team. Wales were defeated by England in the opening match 94-52, following three rink loses and one win. Across the next 2 months, the Welsh Indoor Squads will be busy competing in the BIIBC International Series. The Ladies U25’s International series will be held on 11th and 12th February. The Men’s U25’s International series will be held on 18th and 19th February. The Ladies International series will be held on 10th -12th March while the Men’s International series will be held between 16th and 18th March. BIIBC Under 18s Internationals Tie Break Heartache for Young Welsh Bowlers but a well deserved silver for Wales The Welsh Indoor Bowls Under 18s Team took part in the British Isles Indoor Bowls Council International Series held a Solihull Indoor Bowls Stadium from Friday the 13th to Sunday 15th January. Jam packed January for Welsh Indoor Bowls

The new year is off to a busy start for Welsh Indoor Bowls with a series of International and National Competitions being held across January. With only 1 day to go until the start of the 2023 World Indoor Bowls Championships, Welsh Indoor Bowls have four representatives at Potters this year. Jason Greenslade, Daniel Salmon, Damian Doubler and Ceri Ann Glen, all four are members of Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club. Welsh Learning Disability Indoor Bowls Singles Championship

Welsh Learning Disability Indoor Bowls Singles Championship. Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club 10/11th December 2022 On the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 10/11th December, 36 bowlers competed in four Classifications of the Welsh Learning Disability Singles Championship, at Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club. Some tremendous bowling was witnessed throughout the weekend, which culminated on the Sunday afternoon with the Finals of each Classification. Indoor Success at the British Isle Indoor Bowls Championships 2022

The  British Isles Indoor Bowls Championships 2022 was held on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th October in Belfast, Ireland.  It was a very successful championships for Amy Williams, who won the BIIBC Ladies Singles.
