Welsh Government announcement 22/12/2021

Following the Welsh Government announcement this afternoon, Wales will move to Alert Level 2 from Sunday 26th December at 6am. (Wales Coronavirus Control Plan – https://gov.wales/coronavirus-control-plans ). This will result in regulations being reintroduced, which will include the following; • 2-meter social distance must be maintained at all times • Face masks to be worn inside • One-way systems in facilities and clubs have to be put in place • A limit on gathering and organised activities – maximum 30 people indoors and 50 people outdoor • No spectators permitted • Implement a Track & Trace system • Carry out

Our ‘home offices’ will be closing on Wednesday 22nd December at 4.30pm and re-opening on Tuesday 4th January 2022 from 9am. Wear a face covering inside – This can be taken off while on the green Carry out a COVID risk assessment of your club or facility Ensure good hygiene by having cleaning stations around the club Communicate all COVID procedures to your members You can find guidance on the BowlsWales and the National Governing Bodies websites, which is monitored regularly in line with any Welsh Government restrictions.

The First Minister has confirmed that Wales will move to full Alert Level 0 this Saturday 7 August. The 2021 Ladies Merit Final was held on Sunday 25th July at Mancot BC as part of the Events Research Programme due to the Covid 19 pandemic situation. This was the last event undertaken as part of the programme for 2021.
