Wales Win BIIBC U25 International Series

Wales won the BIIBC U25 International Series held at Aberdeen IBC, following a dominant display during the series throughout the weekend. Whilst many eyes were on Broadbeach and the Commonwealth Games in recent weeks, domestic matters continued to reach a climax for the 2017/2018 indoor season. Our young bowlers competitions are well respected and long established, and have been running for over 20 years. Congratulations to the junior team from Rhondda Indoor Bowls Club who were recently crowned the inaugural champions of the new WIBA Frantic Five competition. The inaugural Frantic Five competition took place on Sunday 8th April at Radnorshire Indoor Bowls Club. The competition was organised by the WIBA to encourage young bowlers to play competitively in a team environment, whilst having fun and embracing the spirit of the game.
