The ladies ‘Team Wales’ were as hot as the weather conditions as they took on North Midlands ladies at Denbigh BC for the Semi final of the Mavis Dearden Supplementary County Championship.
Our ladies gave an outstanding performance at the Home venue with only two losses from twelve matches played. Away at Dunlop, Coventry, they Welsh team took eight victories out of the twelve matches played.
Overall scores at each venue were Home Wales 242, North Midlands 194. Away team Wales 206, North Midlands 192.
They now go through to the final which will be played next month.
