Welsh Government announcement, 30th November- Update

Following today’s Welsh Government announcement there is no change to participating in bowls. Leisure facilities (indoors and outdoors) will remain open. The First Minister specifically stated that access to sport facilities was being protected because of the important benefits to mental well-being associated with exercise. There are no changes to the regulations for sport and exercise, except that ice rinks will be closed. However, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and bars will have to close by 6pm and will not be allowed to serve alcohol. You can find our guidelines here.

Guidance for returning post firebreak

Following the release of the Welsh Government guidance for returning post firebreak, we can confirm the following: Bowls clubs can open following the end of the firebreak on November 9th at 12:01am. If you are aged 11 and over, you can play sport or exercise in a group of up to 30 people outdoors or 15 people indoors. Organised activity in simultaneous groups is allowed if the capacity is aligned to the UK Active Guidance.
