Return to Play

  Following the First Ministers announcement on Friday 19th February, there were no change in restrictions to allow for Bowls clubs to reopen. Wales remain in level 4 with the message ‘stay at home’. The next review will take place on 12th March. The WBA & WWBA are working together with BowlsWales to finalise return to play guidelines in preparation for clubs to return when it is safe to do. BowlsWales Strategy Update

BowlsWales are excited to announce that work to develop a strategy for bowls in Wales will begin imminently. The work will be carried out by a working group with representatives from each of the Member National Governing Bodies (NGB’s) and BowlsWales Board Directors and staff. An independent consultant will facilitate the group as recommended by the Welsh Sport Association. The strategy will seek to develop a shared approach to promoting and supporting the game (in all its codes), and to developing players from grass roots through to elite level competition.
