On Sunday 20th February, 40 bowlers took to the green at Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club to compete for three Classifications titles in the Welsh Learning Disability Pairs Championship 2022. Well done to all competitors who took part in this competition, despite the awful weather conditions, all the entrants arrived safely. Some tremendous bowling was witnessed by over 90 Bowlers, Volunteers, Coaches and supporters. Bowlers from Pembroke, Radnorshire, Islwyn, Rhondda and Cardiff Chameleons, took part in round robin competitions in three separate classifications. The winners and runner-up in each Classification going on to the Semi-Finals and Finals to determine the Welsh Champions.

LDIBIS Full steam ahead for Cardiff.
The Learning Disability Indoor Bowls International Series Management team and the athletes and volunteers are ready to rock and roll in Cardiff in April. After the event being postponed, due to the covid 19 pandemic a total of three times, the LDIBIS event for the Munro Cup will be held in Cardiff on 26th, 27th & 28th April 2022 (with some covid-19 restrictions).
