British Isles Gents Junior International Series

Over the weekend the Welsh Gents Under 25 international team competed at the British Isles Gents Junior International Series at County Antrim Indoor Bowling Club, Belfast. The team played England, Scotland and Ireland. The team was led by Team Manager S Jackson, Welsh President B Broad and Team Captain N Rees. Learning Disabilities Indoor Bowls International Series for the Munro Cup at York and District indoor bowls club 25th and 26th April 2023, is well into the schedule of pre event organising and the count-down is on. England, who won the first event in Falkirk in 2019 will be hoping to re-ignite the flame that lifted them the first title back before covid stuck us all and shut all sports down. Over the weekend the Welsh Ladies Under 25 international team competed at the at Ffrith Indoor Bowling Club, North Wales. The team played England, Scotland and Ireland, finishing third on the table. The team was led by Team Manager R Harvey, Welsh President B Broad and Team Captain S Brain. R Thompson received her first Welsh cap during the series.
