Bowls and Para bowls confirmed for Glasgow 2026

WCGBA- Welsh Champion of Champions

The 2024 Welsh Champion of Champions competition was held on Sunday 22nd of September at New Brighton Bowling Club. This popular end of season knock out was hosted by President Pauline Lindley and Members of the WCGBA Management were there giving their usual support throughout the day. Referees included Arthur Peake,  Peter Higham, Alan Davies and Peter Hughes. In the first four matches, there were no run-away leads in the soggy conditions. WCGBA- Welsh Club Championship

WELSH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP The Welsh Club Championships were held at Hawkesbury Bowling Club on Sunday 15th September. The four teams competing were Esclusham, Broughton, Llanrwst and Rhos Park – each winners of their area’s County Cups. Three of the four clubs have won this contest previously. In the first round groups Llanrwst played Esclusham, with Esclusham taking 6 winners from the eight to be played. The best of those wins was Nick Jones 21-7 over Mike Pritchard. The closing scores were Esclusham 152, Llanrwst 114. Rhos Park and Broughton were the second group. Broughton lead with five winners over Rhos
