Our learning disability bowlers had two pairs qualify from last weeks heats and progressed to the quarter-finals of the Welsh Learning Disability Outdoor Pairs competition today. Both managed to get through their Quarter-Final games this morning, and played their Semi-Finals this afternoon. Naomi Baelz and Millie Campbell won their Semi-final by a big margin. WELSH CROWN GREEN JUNIOR TEAM TAKE BRONZE. In the Drakes Pride Junior County Championship 2022, Wales were frustrated in their attempt to get second place. A very strong Yorkshire team won the championship as was expected, but it was the contest between Wales and Shropshire for silver that dominated everyone’s thoughts. Update: Review of Bowls in Wales
Work on the independent review of Bowls in Wales is now well underway. We have recently completed a survey of the Bowls community –thanks to the 600 of you who responded. We are now working on the next phase of the review -a series of interviews with key people/groups, public meetings and focus groups.
